Did you know that, before our earthly birth, some of us existed in the heavenly realm as celestial beings? For those who do not know, celestial beings are non-physical beings that exist in the heavens in forms that are luminous and based on energy.
Adam (Ad amu) was the first celestial being created, with more that came after him. He was the only person God created by hand; everyone else was created by God’s word. Every being in Heaven has a domain, and Adam’s was the Garden of Eden, which was created specifically for him and his descendants.

The fact that Adam’s creation was entirely different from the others’ heavenly beings shows how superior he is to them. Adam was originally created in heavenly light. It was not until he was cast out of the Garden of Eden and sent to Earth that the Creator clothed him with human skin, allowing him to endure the harsh realities of the physical world, including the sun, cold weather, snow, and rain.

Adam was supposed to live forever, but after his fall, the Creator established a new order in which Adam’s descendants would age, die, and eventually return to the heavenly realm.
From Adam to Abel, Seth, and down through the generations to Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and indeed to you and me, all of us were celestial beings who once existed in heaven.
How Celestial Beings are Chosen to Incarnate in This World, Beginning as Babies
A celestial soul is summoned from the Garden of Eden when a woman conceives, informed of their earthly journey. A guardian angel guides the soul, explaining their mission and the consequences of their choices: a good life leads back to paradise, while sin leads to damnation. The angel gives a brief account of the soul’s life, including where they will be born, live, die, and be buried.
The guardian angel then presents the soul to the Creator for final approval, at which point the Creator determines their earthly life, including parents, circumstances, and physical traits. However, the Creator does not dictate their choices; humans decide what is godly or wicked, allowing them to follow their own path.

For two reasons, no celestial soul is happy coming to this sinful world as this is a process done against their will. First, they understand that once they get there, it will be more difficult for them to remain holy and pure because of the sins of the world. Secondly, they are aware that the earth is under the control of Satan. As soon as they realize it is their time to be born again on Earth, every celestial soul feels sadness.
This sorrow is why newborns cry at birth, despite being peaceful in the womb. It’s more than just physical adaptation; while modern science may misinterpret this as physical adaptation, the truth is that the celestials’ soul in the baby is aware of their evil new environment and expresses sorrow for its transition from a realm of peace (Garden of Eden) to a world tainted by sin. This also explains why children’s purity and innocence are frequently likened to angels. The world gradually contaminates their purity as they grow older.
When that child grows old and dies, the same guardian angel who guided the soul to the mother’s womb will be the one to take the soul from this world. After death, our memories are erased. Only birth and death hold the key to our memories of previous lives.
This fact is revealed in several bible verses. According to Jeremiah 1:5, God chose Jeremiah because he knew him before his birth. According to Psalm 139:13-16, God knew us even before we were born. Furthermore, according to Isaiah 49:1, God summoned us from our mothers’ wombs.
These passages are realistic in that they imply that our Creator knew us before we were sent to Earth. The term “Knew” refers to deep, personal knowledge and relationships, rather than just intellectual awareness.
Conclusion
Every infant has memories of their past lives, even if they can’t articulate them yet. Because our Creator erased these memories at birth, gaining conscious awareness around the age of five frequently means losing touch with them. This explains why we can’t remember our previous lives, and why some of us experience déjà vu or the Mandela effect occasionally.
Our mission on Earth is to learn from Adam’s mistake and earn the right to return to the Garden of Eden. Yahusha (Jesus) followed a similar path, incarnating as a vulnerable newborn with human experiences and limitations. His sacrifice serves as a reminder of our purpose: to live a moral life, overcome obstacles, and return to paradise.
