Have you ever felt like you were being rejected by the world? Have you ever felt like you don’t belong here and that there is nothing for you? I want you to take a deep breath because I have an important message for you.

There are people who follow the crowd and those who stand out. If you’re being rejected, it’s because you’re supposed to stand out. God sees beyond appearances and focuses on your deepest desires. He sees every tear and sorrow and is working behind the scenes for your benefit.

I want you to understand that there are two types of people in the world. There are those who follow the herd and those who stand out from it. If you are experiencing rejection, it is because God wants you to stand out from the crowd. He sees beyond appearances and focuses on your heart’s desires.

God sometimes separates us from people or groups, including family and friends, to accomplish a greater good. This decision reflects His knowledge of our journey, not His love for them. He sees every tear, every sorrow, and is working behind the scenes for our good.

Even if we don’t understand His ways, I’d like to use the stories of Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Ruth, Esther, David, and Paul to encourage us to believe in God’s plan. Each of their stories demonstrates how God’s plan is always correct, even when we don’t understand it.

What We can Learn from the Story of Abraham

Abraham’s life shows perseverance and faith in action. Born into idolatry, he sought the true Creator, and God intervened, recognizing his goodness. God guided Abraham to leave his homeland for Canaan, and his faith and obedience followed.

Abraham’s story demonstrates God values heart over appearance, noticing when our hearts align with His will. His bravery in defying idolatry remains a powerful example, particularly today. Abraham’s relationship with God was strengthened by following God’s will, and his obedience paid off.

Joseph’s Story: From Adversity to Greatness

Joseph’s life shows how God turns challenges into opportunities for greatness. Chosen for greatness, he stood out due to his kind heart and integrity. God blessed him with dream interpretation abilities, foreshadowing his future success. His brothers’ envy led to his slavery in Egypt, but Joseph’s tenacity and faith helped him rise to second-in-command.

His brothers’ decision was part of God’s plan to put Joseph exactly where he needed to be. Joseph forgave his brothers, showing God values character over appearance. His story teaches us God’s plan involves isolation and uncertainty but leads to greatness. Alone in a foreign land, Joseph remained devoted to God’s will and firm in faith. His rise to greatness was due to his faith in God’s plan

Moses: A Life of Trust and Obedience

Moses’ story showcases God’s sovereignty and plan. Born in an Egyptian palace, he was summoned to lead the Israelites out of slavery, an unexpected turn of events. God’s plan disrupted Moses’ life, redirecting him to fulfill His purposes. Moses trusted God’s plan and guided the Israelites through difficulties and uncertainty to the Promised Land.

God’s plan included difficult transitions, unfamiliar territory, and obstacles. Moses left the palace’s comforts to lead the Israelites through the wilderness, encountering Pharaoh’s opposition and the Israelites’ disobedience. Despite this, he persisted, trusting in God’s sovereignty.

Moses’ story inspires us to trust God’s calling, even when it is unexpected, and to follow Him into unfamiliar territory. His life shows us that God’s plan is always good, even if we don’t understand it.

Ruth’s Story: A Beautiful Example of God’s Providence

Ruth’s story illustrates God’s providence and care. She was a Moabite widow who trusted God and followed Naomi to Israel, displaying remarkable faith. Despite uncertainty and hardship, Ruth’s faith led her to join King David and Jesus Christ’s lineage.

Her faithfulness inspires us to believe in God’s call, even when it comes unexpectedly, and to follow Him into unfamiliar territory. Ruth’s experiences demonstrate that God’s plan includes unexpected twists, but always works out for our good.

Esther’s Story: A Demonstration of God’s Sovereignty

Esther’s story showcases God’s sovereignty and plan. As a Jewish woman in exile, she was chosen to be Persia’s queen, thereby saving the Jewish people from persecution. Despite danger and uncertainty, Esther trusted God’s plan and contributed significantly to her people’s salvation.

Her journey had unexpected twists and turns, but she remained faithful, trusting in God’s sovereignty. Esther’s story encourages us to trust God’s calling, even when it is unexpected, and to follow Him into unknown territory. Her experiences demonstrate that God’s plan involves challenges but is always good.

David’s Story: A Testimony to God’s Plan and Purpose

David’s life showcases God’s plan and purpose. The youngest son of Jesse, he was chosen to become Israel’s king, showing how God redirects paths to fulfill His purposes. David’s journey was full of challenges, but he trusted God’s plan, becoming one of Israel’s greatest kings.

God’s plan involves unexpected twists, but it’s always good. David’s confidence in God’s sovereignty inspires us. He remained faithful, trusting God’s goodness through giants, wars, and personal struggles. His story inspires us to trust God’s calling and follow His leading into unfamiliar territories.

Paul’s Story: A Dramatic Example of God’s Sovereignty

Paul’s life showcases God’s sovereignty and plan. A former persecutor of Christians, he was dramatically converted and became a great apostle, illustrating how God interrupts and redirects lives for His purposes. Paul’s journey was filled with challenges, but he trusted God’s plan, spreading the Gospel to the Gentiles.

God’s plan involves unexpected twists, but it’s always good. Paul’s trust in God’s sovereignty inspires us. He remained faithful, trusting God’s goodness despite imprisonment, beatings, and opposition.

Daniel’s Story: Unwavering Faith and Trust

Daniel’s life showcases unwavering faith and trust in God’s sovereignty. Taken captive and serving in King Nebuchadnezzar’s court, Daniel remained faithful, refusing to compromise his values. His trust was demonstrated through courageous actions, facing persecution and danger, including a den of lions.

God’s plan involves unexpected challenges, but it’s always good. Daniel’s faith inspired friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to trust God’s goodness, facing the fiery furnace together.

Hannah’s Story: Prayerful Trust and Faith

Hannah’s life showcases prayerful trust and faith in God’s sovereignty. Facing infertility and disappointment, she poured out her heart to God in prayer, trusting His plan. Her trust was demonstrated through persistent and faithful prayers, not giving up despite disappointment. God’s plan involves waiting and perseverance, but it’s always good. Hannah’s prayerful trust led to her being blessed with Samuel, a great prophet and leader in Israel.

Gideon’s Story: Trusting God’s Sovereignty

Gideon’s life exemplifies the importance of trusting God’s sovereignty in the face of unexpected challenges. Despite fears and doubts, he believed God’s plan, leading the Israelites to victory. Gideon’s journey began with an unexpected call to lead against the Midianites.

Initially hesitant, God encouraged and equipped him. God’s plan involves unexpected twists, but He’s always faithful and sovereign, working for our good. Gideon’s trust was shown through obedience and faith, leading the Israelites to victory, believing God would fight for them.

Job’s Story: Perseverance and Trust in God’s Sovereignty

Job’s life showcases perseverance and trust in God’s sovereignty. Despite immense suffering and loss, he remained faithful, trusting God’s goodness. His story highlights human resilience and faith in adversity. God’s plan involves suffering, but it’s always good.

Job’s trust was demonstrated by refusing to curse God, choosing instead to hope in Him. “Though He slays me, I will still hope in Him” (Job 13:15). His story shows we can trust God’s sovereignty, even when we don’t understand. We can learn to persevere, trust His goodness, and hold on to hope in dark times. Following Job’s example, we grow in trust, feeling peace and confidence in His control.

Conclusion

In a world full of sin and evil, God selects the best for His purposes, and His plan is timeless. If you are lonely or feel like you don’t belong, God says you are unique and chosen.

Do not conform to the ways of the world; instead, celebrate your uniqueness. What matters is God’s acceptance, which He has given you. Hold on to hope and trust God’s sovereignty; He is working for your good.

  1. Greetings in Jesus, Brother Richard,

I enjoyed reading your post. You could add Saul/Paul to that list and not be amiss.

I have been in this position you wrote of for most of my life. I see God’s hand in my life. Recently, He has shown me my path after many years of waiting to be released to share my story.

It is finally coming. Every day, I cast down fear and vain imaginations that try to overcome me now that I have decided to speak out. The “unveiling” will occur on July 11th in the form of an interview on a podcast that gives a voice to those who are victims of ritual abuse and mind control. I would appreciate your prayers.

    God’s blessings to you.

    Shalom shalom,

    Sister Cate

  4. Paul said it best how he OR US are not here to persuade men or God. We are called for a purpose only God has called us to do. Others including many times even family will not understand (Galatians 1:10-12) For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
We are in good company Richard because even our Lord was rejected of His own (John 1:10-13) He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Stay the course and Be Blessed

    1. Your most welcome. When we are called of God it doesn’t take long to realize our life is not as it once was, and those who know us best struggle to understand what has happened to us. We now walk on the wilderness path, THE NARROW PATH that only those who know and love the truth are on.
