Life is not always easy; even the wealthy cry. We all have expectations from morning until night, but we fall short because we are only human. We are complex beings who cry when hurt, laugh when amused, and feel joy when happy. However, one thing we lack is the ability to read minds.
The purpose of this article is to remind us to treat everyone with kindness from the first moment we come into contact with them. To prove my point, I’ll use a real-life example.
Imagine you had a bad day at work and went home to sleep it up because you would rather not upset your loved ones. The next morning, you’re on your way out the door when someone accidentally bumps into you and drops your phone. Despite their apologies, you let loose with a string of verbal insults.
But here’s the thing: they might have had an equally difficult day. Maybe they’re dealing with a serious illness or have recently lost a loved one. Instead of expressing anger, you could have displayed some empathy if you had known.
Everyone faces their own struggles, but we tend to think we’re the only ones. Some people choose to vent their frustrations on others, while others prefer to keep them to themselves and hope for the best.
Think of others when you’re having a bad day. Take a moment to think about what someone else may be going through before confronting them. You might be shocked to learn that they may be facing a far more serious issue than you are.
Since we are unable to read minds, let us treat one another with kindness and gentleness. Although your issue might not be the end of the world for you, it might be for someone else. It might make all the difference if you consider your actions before acting.
